these refrigerator magnets are cut from 1/8th inch steel plate. The magnets and the images on the door were inspired by the drawings of refugee children from sudan, somalia, darfur, iraq and afghanistan. The drawings were collected and put online by u.n. workers caring for the children.

the door is free hanging and lighted from within. The magnets are moveable. The bullet holes and the images represent everyday realities for many children in the world today.

The door is for sale, as are prints and individual magnets. Prices upon request. A portion of the proceeds from these works will be donated to U.N.I.C.E.F.
