Naomi & Broadus sending cousins Ann & Norton for a ride down the hill over the soccer field - where Rick broke his leg in last year’s first snow.
Writing Pedro Medina’s name in the snow on the soccer field he tended.  We are grateful for the time he shared with us.
Sunday morning Rick, Broadus, Max and Jenny went to the raptor show at the  Las Vegas (NM) National Wildlife Refuge . The show featured owls and falcons rescued by the Santa Fe Raptor center.

Only rehabilitated raptors which for some reason cannot be returned to the wild are used for educational purposes. This owl, for example, has lost an eye.
Broadus and Max, the wrestling cousins.

Lori (correct me if I am wrong!), the founder of the Center, is featured here holding a mature Western Screech Owl.
