It’s beginning to look a lot like...North Carolina! We flew all night and here’s a mighty shout out to Pamela from US Airways who kindly rebooked us after we missed our flight from ABQ. Thank you, Pamela! Now it’s early and we’re in Charlotte, waiting for the plane to Wilmington. Broadus is listening to “The Golden Compass”; I wonder how much I should let him relax into audiobooks...should he be reading instead? Since it is 4 in the morning his time I won’t worry too much about it right now...

 

Dan saw us off at the airport; his new shop Bikeworks Albuquerque is thriving. Rick is reading John Paul Lederach; Naomi is reviewing fellowship applications; and we’re all ready to visit with Janet and Spence and hopefully see some dolphins in the waterway to help us celebrate the solstice.
